General Usage #
Step 1: We do not provide native files(*.skp, *.3dm, *.rvt) for the above software but provide *.vrscene format. The format should theoretically be usable in any software that supports the V-Ray renderer. But it has two disadvantages:
- It does not support storing unit information, so the model may appear in different sizes when imported into software with different units.
- You cannot edit materials in *.vrscene files.
Step 2: Download and unzip these 3 files(Replace <nubmer> and <render> to your collection number and render):
- MT_PM_V<number>_Thumbnails.7z
- MT_PM_V<number>_VRScene.7z
- MT_PM_V<number>_Maps.7z
Step 3: Copy folders “MT_PM_V<number>_Maps” and all files in folder “MT_PM_V<number>_Thumbnails” to folder “MT_PM_V<number>_VRScene”. The result should look similar to the image below.

Step 4: Open the software and import the *.vrscene file using the corresponding function provided by the V-Ray renderer.
Step 5: Scale the model and set it to the correct size. Please follow the scaling factors below for model scaling:
- Sketchup: 0.4
- Rhino: Not tested yet
- Revit: Not tested yet
Step 6: Then you can render directly. Please do not change the name of the folder ”MT_PM_V<number>_Maps“, otherwise the texture will be lost.
